Preciosa Jewelry Co. is based in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, in Westmoreland County, just outside Pittsburgh in the Laurel Highlands. Every piece is made and shipped from our private studio in Greensburg. Since we are a service based business / ecommerce brand, we do not have a public storefront except during pop-ups and events across the United States. 

Preciosa serves Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Allegheny County and the surrounding Western Pennsylvania communities in person, and ships jewelry across the United States and worldwide.

Yes. Every Preciosa piece is handmade in small batches in Greensburg, PA, using flowers that are grown, foraged, pressed and preserved by hand. Because each flower is different, no two pieces are exactly alike. We do have a collection of curated pieces and permanent jewelry chains that of course are not handmade by us but exceptional quality nevertheless!

Pressed flower jewelry is jewelry made with real flowers that have been pressed or dried, then sealed in clear resin and set in metal. At Preciosa, each bloom is preserved by hand and set in .925 sterling silver or 14K gold-filled settings to create earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets.

Yes. Every floral piece uses real flowers, many grown in Preciosa's own garden or foraged, then pressed and preserved by hand. Others are sourced from local florists! That is why each piece is one of a kind. 

Preciosa uses .925 sterling silver, 14K gold-filled sterling silver and tarnish-free stainless steel. Gold-filled metal has a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base, so it lasts far longer than ordinary gold plating. 

Yes. Preciosa was started by a founder whose skin reacted to name-brand and so-called hypoallergenic jewelry, so every piece uses hypoallergenic metals such as sterling silver, gold-filled and surgical stainless steel.

Keep your jewelry away from chlorine, harsh chemicals, perfume and lotion, and store it somewhere dry when you are not wearing it. Floral and hand-sculpted pieces are delicate, so take them off for swimming, workouts and cleaning.

Yes. Preciosa preserves wedding bouquets and turns the flowers into jewelry, coasters, jewelry trays and framed displays. Start on the flower preservation page.

Yes. Preciosa preserves memorial and sympathy flowers into wearable keepsakes and home pieces, so a meaningful bouquet can be kept and worn for years.

Preserved flowers can become sterling silver or 14K gold-filled earrings and necklaces, resin flower coasters, wood engraved coasters, jewelry trays, an 11 x 13.5 pressed flower frame or a 16 x 20 shadowbox.

Flower preservation starts with a deposit of $100 for a single bouquet (under 12 stems) or $200 for a wedding bouquet (12 stems or more). Keepsakes are priced separately: earrings from $70, necklaces from $110, resin coasters $70 each, jewelry trays $100, framed pressed flowers $350 and shadowboxes $450.

The deposit reserves professional drying and preservation for your flowers. The keepsakes you choose are paid for separately when your final pieces are ordered.

Flower preservation usually takes 4 to 8 weeks from the day Preciosa receives your flowers, which allows time to dry, preserve and build your keepsake. Rush options may be available; ask before you book.

Permanent jewelry is a bracelet or anklet that is custom-fitted and closed with a small, precise weld instead of a clasp, so you can wear it every day without taking it off.

The Forever Garden Chain Club is Preciosa's flower-inspired permanent jewelry experience. You pick a chain, get it fitted to your wrist or ankle, add charms if you like, and get linked with a seamless weld.

No. The weld joins the chain, not your skin, and the process is quick and painless.

Yes. If you ever need to take it off, the chain can be carefully cut with nail clippers at the connecting point.

Preciosa's permanent chains are chosen for everyday wear. Care depends on the chain and materials you pick, and you will get care instructions when you are linked.

Permanent jewelry generally does not need to be removed for everyday travel or standard airport security, though security rules are set by the authorities at each checkpoint.

Yes. Select chains can be made into permanent anklets, and charms can be added to bracelets and anklets.

We have a Dioxide laser and can absolutely turn anything from pictures, to handwriting, to drawings of your birthflower and more on jewelry!

Yes. Preciosa brings the Forever Garden Chain Club to bridal parties, bachelorettes, weddings, birthdays, girls' nights, mother-daughter dates, corporate events and boutique pop-ups.

Yes. Orders over $99 ship free within the United States. Shipping for smaller orders is calculated at checkout.
